So...Mumbles was straightening his feathers this morning; and that's when I asked him if he would mind trying on a pair of antlers.

Brighton
One of my favorite "look what I can do", feel-good artist blogs is The Needle. I love all the characters as well as the narratives that are created on a daily basis. I love it so much that I, to, wanted to add my own creation to the group. So I got busy making my own stuffed bird and this is who showed up.

the sphere houses
the next project starts with a collage sketch of my Sphere House project. Of course these houses are all in my head, but I'd like to develop them into some kind of 3-D installation.

Postage Wallets
I'm not sure where I got it, but I found a ziplock bag full of envelope tops in my sewing supplies. They were all postmarked in December of 1958 and were mailed from different parts of the country. Once found, I hated to pack them away again so I sewed them into the front of a few wallets.

New Year's Day
As always seems the case, New Year's Day is a time to revisit what has been set aside. I've been neglecting this blog; but mostly in favor of face to face communication.
Well, it's time to resume once again and also catch up on other's blogs that I have not have the time to read.
